- Quote forms: your name, phone number, email address, ZIP code or address, and the details of the job you describe.
- Phone calls: your phone number, the date, time and length of the call, a recording of the call, and a written transcript of the recording. You are told at the start of the call that it is being recorded.
- Text messages: your phone number and the content of the messages you send to us and we send to you.
- Website use: basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, collected by our website hosting provider.
Why we collect it
- To pass your enquiry to a local business that can provide the service you asked about.
- To reply to your call, text or form, including by text message.
- To check the quality of the enquiries we pass on and to resolve questions about them with the businesses we work with.
- To prevent spam, fraud and misuse of our websites and phone numbers.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
- The local business handling your enquiry: we share your contact details and job details with the business we pass your enquiry to, so that it can contact you about the work.
- Our service providers: companies that provide our call tracking, text messaging and website hosting, which process information only on our behalf.
- Authorities: when we are required to by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
Text messaging
Mobile information, including opt-in consent to receive text messages and the phone numbers collected for texting, will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are excluded from all of the sharing described above.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details, call recordings, transcripts and messages only for as long as we need them for the purposes above and for our business records, and then delete them.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@fearanndigital.com. To stop text messages, reply STOP to any message from us.
Children
Our websites are intended for adults and are not directed at anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date above.
